Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Salary: DOE competitive rates. £22,550 - £25,000 Bonus scheme available after 4 weeks. Earning up to £5000 per annum. Payable Quarterly.

Pest Control Technician

Due to continued success, a rapidly expanding Pest Control company require additional experienced Pest Control Technicians.

The Pest Control Technician would be required to service residential, commercial and agricultural clients based in but not limited to Surrey and Sussex.

This award-winning pest control company, started with the Prince’s Trust is currently seeking a Pest Control Technician to come and join their small team of enthusiastic, customer focussed pest controllers.

Type of work the company undertakes:

• Insect control - all insects in all areas
• All Rodent control and related work - including removing and cleaning droppings after infestations
• Wild life management - Deer fencing, rabbit fencing, rabbit control, deer control, foxes, mink, stoats, weasels., moles, squirrel control, dray shooting, farm rodent control, badger fencing
• Bird proofing - netting, spikes, wires, night shooting, trapping
• Routine visits and both single visit job works
• We guarantee variety, every day will be different. You will be out meeting clients and facing new challenges daily

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Inspect customer premises and report on status of premises, to advise on add on services to better help the customer
• Prepare & undertake pesticide works and create treatment reports
• Undertake proofing for prevention works
• Completing risk assessments and methods statements
• Liaising with office daily, reporting back on progress
• Participating in regular training
• Keeping van and kit clean and tidy every day
• Providing feedback sheets on completion of works

The Ideal Candidate will have;

• A good standard of written English and good organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experienced with direct customer service skills
• Previous industry training & qualifications minimum - RSPH/BPCA Level 2 Or equivalent
• 2 Years pest control technician experience
• Full clean UK driving license
• A good attitude towards working as a team and to help others grow
• Having a hands-on approach to help expand and grow with the business
• Able to work autonomously

• Working hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm however this may vary due to the type of work and will need to be flexible
• Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays
