Our Client is now seeking a Technical Infrastructure Team Leader to lead their core infrastructure team on a day to day basis with overall responsibility for all technical delivery in both business as usual and transformational change projects. Reporting to the Dev/Ops Manager you will have the autonomy to define and deliver the solutions which enable their future service delivery model.

As part of their wider transformation the ICT team has just undertaken a department wide restructure and this role has been created to lead the technical delivery of the core infrastructure hardware, networks, software and end user client device upgrades which will enable them to become a recognised leader in digital delivery to their customers. You will work with the newly appointed Dev Ops Manager, Portfolio Manager and the head of ICT to shape the future technology for the organisation.

Their core technologies are Windows Server 2008 & 2012, Exchange Server 2010 and SQL Server. Server and desktop virtualisation with Hyper-V and Citrix VDI/ XenApp and SAN storage. Networking using Cisco routers and switches.

The ICT transformation programme will refresh their entire estate over 18 months and create a sustainable platform to support the next generation of upgrades using the latest hybrid in-house and cloud solutions. Once this programme has been delivered the role will be responsible for delivering continuous service improvement through the on-going delivery of change to keep their technology solutions at the cutting edge.
