A1 Comms has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shop Fitter to join their team covering the Derbyshire area. The role is being offered on a full time permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary of circa. £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

About the Shop Fitter role

Principally this position involves working independently on the business’ new and existing retail sites, working off plan to assemble and install shop fittings. In addition, as Shop Fitter you will be required to undertake general maintenance duties - including general joinery and painting and decorating - to keep their retail estate in a great state of repair.

This role is full-time, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, and may include some days/nights away from home.

What they are looking for in a Shop Fitter

A1 Comms are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in this type of work. The successful candidate should have plenty of experience of operating within a similar role and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of basic health and safety legislation. They should be willing to be ‘hands-on’, and be both flexible and organised. Experience of quality shop fitting in a retail environment would be an advantage.
