St Just in Roseland Parish Council
seeks a
Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer
22.5 hrs per week @ £13.75 (based on NALC's LCS range SPC 30)
Applications are invited for the role of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to St Just in Roseland Parish Council.
The successful applicant will be required to provide professional support and guidance in respect of all aspects of the Council's work including acting as the Council's Responsible Financial Officer.
The candidate will need to be an efficient office administrator with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and other IT applications including accounting software. Knowledge of book-keeping and/or financial administration is important. Previous experience of managing staff is also desirable.
Applicants should hold a clean, valid driving licence, have use of a motor vehicle and be available to attend evening meetings. Experience of working in Local Government or a public-sector environment would be an advantage but is not essential as the opportunity to gain qualifications in this area is fully supported by the Council.
