SUMMARY OF ROLE

To identify, implement and manage Marketing initiatives. The role will assist the UK&I General Manager and Business Leaders in all aspects of creating and executing the UK&I Marketing Plan in line with country growth objectives and initiatives.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with UK&I General Manager, Business Unit Sales Directors & Product Managers create, develop and execute a Marketing Plan to support the UK&I Growth Plans;
Coordinate and collect information on competitors and market e.g. financial performance, product offering, market share and sales activity and review on an ongoing basis. (Market Modeling):
Where required and as appropriate select and work with 3rd parties to determine market dynamics, industry trends, etc. providing insight for planning activities;
Based on above, provide support to business leaders by way of analysis, trends etc. determining focus areas supporting country growth initiatives and objectives;

Managing the Marcomm's budget, including liaising with Finance, maintain and monitor budget spreadsheet, approval of spend prior to it happening and signing off invoices;

Working with the General Manager/BU Sales & Marketing Directors to;
a. Build a positive image;
b. Proactively assist to position the business as the trusted advisor and Solution provider of first choice;
c. Develop and execute a marketing communication plan supporting above;
d. Assist in annual budget preparation to ensure full cover of requirements;
e. Together with General Manager and BU stakeholders, and in conjunction with the marketing plan, determine which Exbo's, seminars, roadshows etc. will be attended with appropriate strategic direction;

In partnership with the European Marketing Leadership Team manage consistent messaging, ensuring European strategic initiatives are supported by the country sales organization;

Where required, liaise with 3rd parties in respect to Marcomm activities;

Ad hoc coordination of outsourcing aspects required to meet UK Marketing Communication Plan, i.e. Tele-marketing campaigns, etc. measuring effectiveness and looking for opportunities to move this forward and incorporate into other areas of the business;
Manage Customer Surveys/ Think Customer Surveys, provide analysis and feedback to Leadership and Management team based on survey results and customer verbatim;
Ensure the branding and corporate guidelines are understood and followed throughout the UK&I organization, including ADC's and business partners, distributing as necessary;
Adhere to the company's ethical values at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience in a Marketing Specialist role (around 2 to 4 years);
  • Degree in Marketing/ Business or equivalent;
  • Experience within a technology driven organisation in sales, planning, marketing or corporate communications;
  • Demonstrable analytical skills;
  • IT literacy;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Full clean driving license and flexibility to travel.
