Team Leader / Supervisor - Cleaning Company

Our client is currently recruiting for a team leader.

This is a role that involves not only motivating, supervising and managing day to day work loads, but requires a type of person who is not only flexible but willing to go the extra mile to achieve the best results for customers.

Ideally you will be from a cleaning background with a minimum of 2 years cleaning & polishing and making all thing sparkly!

This is a hands on position so you will be required to roll up your sleeves and lead by example, you will be responsible for around 6 hard working cleaning staff at any one time and provide support, training & supervision and a mop & bucket when required!

Much of the work is out of town so you will be provided with a company vehicle which you will collect staff on a day to day basis, a full UK driving licence is essential, if you don't like driving or leaving your bed for an early start then do not read any further as you can be in Bristol one day then Cardiff the next and to beat the traffic staff leave the centre from 7 am.

You will be required to work as and when the business requires, this means working some nights & Saturdays and Sundays although we do rota work patterns, so if football or getting your nails done on a religious basis is a must then sorry, this isn't for you.

Our client has a variety of customers whose needs are all different, from construction sites to supermarkets, restaurants to offices, we clean everything & anything, this includes window cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance etc. and although we have dedicated staff for this specialised work you will be required to oversee and inspect these work standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Good all round cleaning knowledge / NVQ or City & Guilds qualification
  • Motivator / enthusiastic approach to work
  • Driving licence
  • Cscs (construction safety card can be obtained at a later date)
  • Flexibility towards working hours
  • A peoples person, friendly and fare
  • Strong organisation skills, good co-ordinator
  • English language, both written and spoken essential
  • Ability to communicate on all levels

Do you fit the bill, can you cut the mustard, if the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you, so if you’re already employed but looking for new challenges or in a position to start immediately contact us

"If the face fits" and you are lucky enough to join the company you will be paid handsomely, you will gain a set of wheels and be provided with a fab uniform, support and training, holiday pay, pension and all of the usual stuff.

Every day is a different day, which bring new challenges and rewards.
