Project Administrator, Salary £15-19k dependent on skills and experience, Based in Wrexham.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join an established and growing Wrexham based business who are a leading provider of utility connections consultancy and project management services to the UK construction industry. We are keen to hear from candidates who want to take their career in a new direction and develop a long term career. Applicants will need to  have excellent administrative and organisational skills with the desire to learn and develop.

Project Administrator job purpose / Key duties: of the job:

  • To provide administrative support to the Technical and Project Management teams with individual projects whilst also carrying out general office services such as implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies.
  • Liaising with other departments to assess utility application requirements
  • Liaise with external parties such as utility providers and clients (eg; local authorities, private builders, architects, cost consultants)
  • Request and monitor applications for quotes
  • Liaise with and update clients on progress
  • Assist in evaluating proposals and organising clarifications and amendments
  • Carry out hand over of projects with other internal departments
  • Monitor progress of projects
  • You may be required to attend site visits with members of the Technical or Project Management teams
  • You will be expected to develop an understanding of basic technical terminology and issues which may arise within different types of projects

Project Administrator candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Experience of working within a project, technical or construction environment would  be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Must have a desire to learn and develop
  • Excellent organisational skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
