An exciting opportunity exists to apply for the position of Assistant Head of School for the Haxby Road Primary Academy, part of the Ebor Academy Trust. This is a full time, permanent position with a start date of January 2018.

Within the role you will raise standards of teaching and learning with special responsibility for the curriculum and assessment, in particular within Early Years and KS1. Leading by example and effectively managing the academy, staff and resources, you will demonstrate effective teaching to facilitate learning, securing outstanding outcomes for all pupils.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher, with leadership qualities and a proven experience of being an excellent practitioner, with particular strength in EYFS and KS1. With a qualified teaching status, and an Honours Graduate or equivalent, you will be an experienced teacher who has a knowledge and understanding of learning and teaching at different ages.

Closing Date: Monday 16th October at midday

Prior to the closing date for application, prospective candidates are invited to attend an information session on Friday 13th October at 5:30pm. This will be to inform candidates about the academy’s vision and place within the Ebor Academy Trust and allows candidates to see the academy and ask questions if required.
