Legal Secretary

Legal Secretary – 12 month FTC

Salary:  £24,964- £29,323 per annum – Grade 4

Location – Service Headquarters, Calcot, Reading

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for providing a proactive legal support as part of the Community Safety Project including tasks such as collation, production and maintenance of files.

The key focus of this role is:

• Maintenance of all files produced as part of 4 Phase plan
• Maintenance of the audit trail of correspondence and communication with key stake holders
• Collation and production of files for prosecution, prohibition and enforcement
• Minute taking at meetings
• Document management including the maintenance of filing systems

Key role requirements:

• A background in providing legal secretary support.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and make decisions
• Proven IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets and database skills
• A positive individual with a can do attitude with the ability to provide a high standard of customer service
