This approved government training provider is looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant.

The primary role is to market the company and actively recruit clients onto the company's training schemes.

To raise the profile of the company and build up relationships with local industry.

To contribute to the development and growth of the company.

Key duties and responsibilities
- Meeting set company targets for recruitment with regard to contract profiles.
- The development of new business using various marketing techniques. (calls, emails, social media etc.)
- Building up a client database and customer profiles, recording all enquiries whether they are successful or not.
- Provide Information, Advice and Guidance to ensure learners and employers are fully informed of our courses and schemes.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with employers
- Ensure maintenance of confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Have regular meetings with the Centre Manager to discuss planning targets for new candidates together with any employer problems and queries.
- Follow company procedures with regard to demonstrating commitment to equality of opportunity and any other anti-discriminatory practice, & ensure maintenance of confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications or Training
- Good standard of education.
- Good knowledge of NVQ's and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Welsh Government procedures.
- Excellent IT Skills in Microsoft packages.
- Fluent speaking and writing in Welsh is essential.

Experience
- Experience of tele-sales and cold-calling.
- Experience of achieving set sales targets.

- The ability to behave in a positive and professional manner when dealing with staff and employers.
- The ability to help develop and train staff and give constructive feedback.
- An ability to be empathetic to the needs of candidates and staff.
- The ability to make informed decisions whilst being aware of the consequences.
- A recognition and regard for observing confidentiality.
- An ability to work on own initiative and meet set timescales and to liaise with the Centre Manager and Sales and Marketing Supervisor.
