Location: Brighton
Salary: GBP60k - GBP65k + great benefit package
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm

I have great pleasure in supporting my client in the recruitment of a dynamic Regulatory Reporting Manager to join their Finance team based in the highly reputable Organisation based in Brighton.

The role will be to manage the effective and compliant control of regulatory matters for the organisation with two direct reports.

Responsibilities:

* Provide assistance for any statutory UK GAAP and group reporting activities
* Liaise with auditors to achieve successful sign off
* Manage the day to day activity of your team
* Ensure the teams work is completed compliantly and within the financial budget
* Implement and monitor departmental procedures
* Preparation and review of Solvency II Pillar III quantitative reporting templates
* Manage all ongoing improvements in all Solvency II reporting
* Proactively review regulatory requirements and developments issued by EIOPA, the PRA and Loyds
* Prepare and review components of ORSA's for all regulated entities

The right candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:

* Proven knowledge within Solvency II
* Educated to graduate level
* Qualified accountant
* Proven background within insurance accounting
* Knowledge of general ledger systems, particularly Oracle and Hyperion
* Risk Management and project management techniques
* Highly analytical
* Ability to successfully manage a team
