Construction and Highways Tutor

This organisation based in Huntingdon are looking for an experience construction tutor to lead the tuition of Construction and Highways training in their newly formed Highways Academy.

Opened in 2016, the Highways Academy is a unique facility delivering apprenticeships and work based training in Construction and Highways Maintenance to support the local infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will hold both a teaching and assessment qualification (although training can be provided to the right candidate) and have experience across a broad range of construction skills including, drainage, concreting, steel fixing as well as Health and Safety.

You should be positive and energetic with experience of positively managing change with experience of working for an apprenticeship delivery organisation. The role would suit someone who is hands on and can demonstrate delivering improvement in teaching learning and assessment.

Salary is dependent on experience.

A DBS check will be required.
