This is an opportunity to join a full service, national, commercial law firm with a unique business model and an innovative way of working. They are looking to recruit a legal PA/Office Administrator to be based in Sheffield.
They are an energetic bunch and you'll need to be bright and lively to keep up. A professional attitude and excellent communication skills are a must along with a desire to succeed in an environment that is relaxed but professional. They are looking for someone who is responsive, quick to pick up new tasks and who loves a challenge.
This role will have a dual purpose:
Office Admin duties:
- Managing the office including answering and directing inbound phone calls from Clients
- Maintaining all stationery orders
- Developing and implementing new administrative systems to streamline current processes/systems
- Overseeing all IT issues with external supplier
- Managing filing systems
- Assisting with general smooth running of the office
- Assume responsibility for their other regional office
PA duties include:
- Managing CEO's busy diary
- Organising any travel for CEO and other colleagues
- Managing CEO's busy inbox and redirecting emails as necessary
- Helping with any adhoc research on new clients
- Managing your own projects
Other support may include helping their remote based lawyers with any ad hoc administration necessary.
They expect this role to have a huge impact on the office. They have experienced rapid growth over the last 12 months and expect this to continue and this will only be able to happen smoothly with the Office Administrator/PA at the helm. You will work closely with the whole Management Team and will therefore need to be able to maintain confidentiality.
They would like this role to start on a temporary basis initially so please only apply if you are available in the next two weeks. You will be paid an hourly rate to start before moving onto a permanent contract within 3 months if it's the right job for you.
