Currently we are recruiting for an experienced electrical assembly and installation engineer to work for a company based in Dewsbury offering a wide array of solutions to the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Ensuring products are assembled and installed to a very high standard and the company is represented positively and professionally at all times.
- Pre-wiring and testing equipment to meet production schedules for both on and off-site installations
- Calibrating instruments such as pressure transmitters
- Assembling and installing containment equipment for the pharmaceutical industry
- Testing equipment and completing validation documents
** Travelling to various global locations to carry out site work
Experience/Skills Required:
- Electrical engineering and controls experience
- Site work, ideally working with an international client or customer base at their premises
- Experience of working to 17th Edition electrical standards
- A well-presented, professional demeanour
- Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
- Ideal EC&I Technicians may also have experience in the mechanical assembly of OEM equipment, software/PLC programming experience and a containment background or experience. Being ATEX approved or having experience in this would also be beneficial, but not essential.
Salary (Dependent on experience)
