New Production Development Project Manager
THE COMPANY:
Calibrate Engineering Recruitment are working with a Sheffield based Precision Engineering business as they look to recruit a Project Manager to work closely within the New Production Development division of the business.
Due to an exciting and large new contract win for the business, they require an excellent Project Manager with a proven track record of managing a variety of different contracts.
THE JOB:
Working with 4 other Project Managers and a Project team of around 16 people, the role will include:
* Managing a new multi-million pound contract through to completion and taking on other smaller projects further down the line
* Work with engineering and quality teams to formulate development and ramp up plans for new products
* Create and manage capital appropriation requests for bringing new equipment into the business
* Create and maintain project plans
* Manage project budgets
* Manage project resource planning
* Be customer focus point on new projects
* Manage all internal project status reports
* Work with operations teams to arrange time for development trials
* Support, develop and train the Process engineers
THE PERSON:
Although an Engineering background would be preferred, the company are prepared to consider strong Project Managers from other sectors who are commercially astute and used to managing projects right the way through from conception to completion.
