Equipment Engineer
GBP25-38,000 + benefits
Essex
Hi- Tec Engineering leader require a motivated Engineer to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to equipment within operations, as well as driving continuous improvement. You will be a natural problem solver able to locate faults in a logical and structured manor to assess equipment failure and return equipment to production.
Key Responsibilities -
+ Identify potential equipment failure modes and implement mitigation plans to ensure that equipment availability for production is maximised;
+ Update and maintain all preventative maintenance procedures;
+ Respond rapidly to equipment issues, ensuring that timely repair is carried out and that clear progress updates are provided to production teams;
+ Use appropriate systems to ensure that all equipment issues are logged and that a controlled release back to production is completed;
+ Use failure modes information to determine equipment improvement actions, either through spares/repairs policy, or working with equipment suppliers to implement equipment improvements;
+ Ensure any changes to equipment configuration are robustly tested, documented, and managed via the correct change control protocols.
Skills and knowledge required -
+ Experience of equipment maintenance and fault finding to component level in some of the following disciplines: vacuum, mechanical, robotic and electronics.
+ Experience of following engineering drawings & technical instructions
