At Bloor Homes we build more than quality homes. We build sustainable communities for future generations to enjoy. However hard we try - and we try incredibly hard - it is only human to make mistakes very occasionally. Whenever we do make a mistake, we try even harder to put it right as quickly as possible and keep our customers totally satisfied. That's where you could come in. Our Customer Care department receives, responds to and tracks any defects, customer problems or complaints. We need an Assistant to join this vitally important team.In return we offer an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to build a career with one of the UK's leading housebuilders.

We need a bright, ambitious person to join our team as a Customer Care Administrator.

Your role will be to provide the first point of contact for incoming customer phone calls, and to allocate them to the right person to resolve their issue. It's not all about dealing with problems and upset customers - the ideal outcome is that you can help solve their problems and be 'the bearer of good news'!

As part of this busy, friendly team, you will be required to monitor and update defects logged on internal systems, produce reports to show trends and outcomes, and produce and distribute weekly diaries and job sheets. You will also assist team members in raising contra-charge notices, monitoring and sending Customer Reminder notices, and providing general office and admin duties to the team.

You will need an excellent telephone manner and a friendly and charming personality, as well as some previous experience of working in an office environment, and GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.

You'll need to be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office, and have excellent verbal and written communications skills. And you'll need to work well as part of a team, under pressure, with good attention to detail.

Already one of the largest privately owned house building groups in the UK with around 900 staff, we're always looking for new talent. We believe that to attract the best, you need to be the best and we therefore offer excellent development and progression opportunities as well as a great benefits package.

At Bloor Homes you'll be part of a business that will value you, your contribution and your ideas. Join us and make every day a rewarding one
