Assistant Project Manager, York - Salary GBP20k - GBP22k, 25 Days Holiday, Free Car Parking (12 Month Contract)
An outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager has arisen to work for an excellent company within the York area. The successful Assistant Project Manager will have a real drive and determination to succeed in Project Management, you will be self-motivated, client focused and have the ability manage a busy and demanding workload. Experience within the Print or Design industry would be a distinct advantage.
As the Assistant Project Manager, your job will be:
* Build and maintain relationships with internal contacts and customers
* Liaising with the design team and client on a regular basis
* Manage all aspects of projects in line with agreed client SLA's
* Manage deadlines and critical path requirements
* Provide studio with briefings and ensure brand consistency is maintained
* Develop own knowledge of Print related processes and terminology
* Build a good understanding of own product range and requirements
* Manage and resolve any project issues
* Maintain excellent customer service at all times
* Keep in-house MIS system updated at all time
* Manage a number of different projects at once
Person Specification:
* Previous account management experience would be an advantage
* Experience or knowledge of the print or design industry would be an advantage
* Strong organisational skills along with ability to multi task.
* Extremely client focused and ability to provide excellent customer service
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to work in a busy environment
* Good attention to detail.
* Flexible and hardworking.
* A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
* Smart appearance and professional attitude.
* Experience working in a customer service focused job
* Approachable and trustworthy.
* Educated to degree level is desirable
* PC literate - Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
* Excellent organisation skills essential

Salary GBP20,000 - GBP22,000, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (Pro Rata)
12 Month Contract with a possibility of leading to permanent
