The role:
Are you able to support Executives on a one to one basis, prepare data, take minutes, and organise diaries, whilst maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality? We are currently working exclusively with a prestigious client in the Sheffield area; due to the new appointment of a new Exec Director this organisation is now seeking an experienced and highly effective PA to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
To provide an efficient, professional and proactive range of PA support ensuring accurate work is produced in line with agreed timescales for the Executive Director in a highly confidential manner demonstrating trust, honesty and integrity.
To monitor emails and other correspondence, screen prioritise and action where appropriate. Raising any urgent enquiries to the Executive Directors attention immediately.
Act as a Gatekeeper for the Executive Director between the public, clients and customers, staff members and peers.
Establish a high level of credibility and positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist the Executive Director to deliver strategy, business targets and objectives, whilst formulating tactical plans.
Provide the department with general PA support, successfully managing multiple tasks, working under pressure and meeting agreed deadlines.
To assist the department in the co-ordination and support of projects, change management, data protection and supporting the delivery of the departmental objectives and strategic business plans within the required timeframes.
To support and assist the Executive Director on business planning the production and execution of Board level reports.
Be able to assist to prepare, proof read and distribute Board papers on a quarterly basis, ensuring the information is accurate and delivered within the required timescales.
Desirable
RSA Level III qualification or equivalent.
Experience Essential
Significant experience in a similar one-on-one support role to an executive level Director.
Significant exposure to business planning, and experience in the production of board-level reports.
Solid first line management background.
Demonstrable experience of working within a pressurised environment.
Significant experience of working both singularly and as part of a team.
Proven project management experience.
Demonstrative experience of event planning and execution, and managing corporate hospitality.
Sound exposure to a busy and demanding office environment.
Accurate typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 70 wpm.
