HGV 1 Driver

Opportunity to work immediately as a HGV Class 1 Driver to cover a 3 month contract over Christmas and New Year for one of our major clients based in and around the Langley Area.

Fantastic pay rate between GBP16.39 p/h - GBP18.80 p/h on PAYE or
GBP18.30 p/h - GBP20.75 p/h via umbrella or Self Employed (dependant on shifts)
Guaranteed 35 - 40 hrs per week plus overtime opportunity.
Day and Night shifts available.

Some weekend cover will also be required. Flexibility is essential

As a HGV Class 1 Driver your responsibilities will be;
Load and unload goods onto and off the vehicles
Transporting parcels and packages to various national destinations a
Checking and maintaining all goods on the vehicles
Carrying out regular checks on your vehicles and ensures fit for use
Ensuring Tacho readings are accurate and submitted on time

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will;

Have experience driving class 1 vehicle in the UK for a minimum period of 6 months
Have experience as a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver, Lorry Driver, Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver, LGV C+E, C+E Driver or CE Driver
Have a digital tachograph card
Be flexible with hours to meet the demands of the business
Have 6 or less points on your licence
Hold an LGV C+E Licence for 2+ years
