Market leading manufacturing business based in County Durham.

Job Details

This is a stand-alone position which requires an experienced generalist HR officer to support the Senior Managers and Managing Director.

Duties will include recruitment, handling disciplinary and grievances, managing and maintaining personnel files as well as handling payroll information.

The successful candidate must confident with providing confidential advice and support to employees and delivering inductions.

Experience / Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at least three years' experience of working in a generalist HR role, have exposure to a manufacturing business, understanding and practical knowledge of employment law and employer best practice.

CIPD qualification would be a huge advantage but not essential, be organised and methodical and have excellent IT skills.

Salary / Shifts

Part time hours

The salary will be competitive depending on experience
