An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the lending team within an expanding business based in Basingstoke. The role will be supporting the post completion process, gathering all the information required to ensure service levels are adhered to, whilst liaising directly with the customers with a focus on providing excellent customer service at all times. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing customer accounts through the maturity process to ensure loans are repaid on time
* Liaising directly with customers regarding repayment strategy and ensuring all activity is recorded accurately
* Taking calls directly from the customers and answering any queries relating to their account
* Receiving redemption payments from customers or via solicitors, applying these funds and taking the required action to partially or fully redeem the account
* Producing and issuing annual statements to all accounts, ensuring that all FCA guidelines are adhered to
* Managing any post completion activities/processes proactively. Activities and processes could include lease extensions, non-payment of service charges, death of a customer and returned post.
Experience and skills:
* A financial services background, including mortgage lending experience
* An excellent telephone manner, with experience of regularly dealing directly with the customers and handling calls which are complex and require agreement of actions during the call
* Excellent customer service skills
* Previous experience of working in an Intermediary led business
* Experience working within a busy team environment
* Experience managing your own workload and being flexible in approach to day to day activities
