Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our team in Rochester, working 50 hours a week.

In return for your hard work as our Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, we can offer a salary of £29,000 - £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, pension scheme and plenty of opportunity for personal development; working within in a team-orientated and collaborative environment, for a company that strives to be environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.

The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Possession of HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
• Good understanding of a proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring
• Knowledge of CMMS systems, purpose and functionality
• Full driving licence

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Completing the Planned Maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plan
• Planning and delivering corrective and reactive work, ensuring that tools, parts and materials are available and production downtime is minimized
• Planning, organising and undertaking corrective and reactive work
• Updating and administrating the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Undertaking engineering project work and assisting with new installations or refurbishments
