We are looking for a team of Male Support Workers & a Senior Support Worker to join our team Initially working between Wallsend and Durham. The successful Male Support Worker/Senior Support Worker candidates will join us on a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week plus sleeping nights. Hourly rates for this role are £10.00 - £12.00 for waking hours and £7.05 for sleeping hours.

About the Male Support Worker/Senior Support Worker role

Team of Male Support Workers, including a senior, required for a 35 year old gentleman who has an Acquired Brain Injury following a Road Traffic Accident. 

Our client currently lives in a Care Home in the Wallsend area, however we are looking to move him into Independent Living in Durham where he will require 24/7 1:1 support.

Applicants will be required to assist the client with all elements of daily living, involve the client in the community, hobbies, leisure pursuits and activities. 

The client does not require assistance with his Personal Care.

What we’re looking for in our Male Support Worker/Senior Support Worker

Applicants require an empathetic & dynamic approach with the ability to promote and encourage daily routine and engage in home & community activities is essential.

Experience preferred. 

Driver/full license essential

Successful applicants will receive support, training & supervision.
