Our Client is a community based housing organisation committed to providing high quality services to the people and neighbourhoods that they work in. They are a “not-for-profit” landlord, based in Didsbury, managing and improving approximately 6,000 homes in South Manchester. 

They are currently expanding their development portfolio across South Manchester and surrounding areas and have a significant portfolio of shared ownership and market rent developments, within their programme. They now have an immediate requirement for an experienced and highly motivated Sales and Marketing Manager, to join them. This role will take the lead in the marketing and sale of new homes for the Trust, under the Gecko Brand. The selected person will need to market and sell new homes at or above target prices and within forecast timescales, in accordance with their policies.

Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to customers at all stages, associating the Gecko Brand with high-quality shared ownership, market rent and outright sale products.  You will ensure that marketing plans are produced for each new development and must proactively lead on property sales, setting sales targets for new developments and putting measures in place to achieve those targets.  

This fast-paced role requires an individual with strong commercial experience who can maximise sales rates, values and has a proven track record of successfully creating value through the sales process.  With an understanding of the mortgage and property markets, the client group’s and the variety of products, candidates for this role must demonstrate exceptional business management skills, have an appreciation of the web and social media and the ability to produce clear, concise and well written sales reports.
