We have an exciting opportunity based in central Chesterfield for a public sector client based in Head office. This is a 3 month rolling assignment with the view to extend and possibly be made permanent for outstanding candidates! The successful candidate will work within the inbound call centre. The pay rate starts from £7 - £9 per hour.

The successful candidate will be providing timely, effective and efficient support to businesses, Internal Customers and the general public. This will include including receiving, recording, resolving queries where possible, routing and monitoring support/service requests including additional administrative duties across the wider team as required.
Experience of:

  • Delivering excellent customer service both over the phone and in writing in a customer facing role.
  • Decision making and finding solutions to issues and problems that confront you.
  • Working in a team to achieve quality and quantity targets and deliver a service
  • Dealing with incoming calls, written correspondence and routine requests
  • Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data
  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes

Typical qualifications and experience:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
  • A good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
  • A good level of keyboard skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Previous call centre/ customer service experience desirable
