UK Financial Accountant - Gatwick - GBP55,000 D.O.E. - Permanent
Our client is a leading Aviation company based near Gatwick Airport and they have an immediate job vacancy for a qualified Financial Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join their team following an internal re-structure as a result of continued business growth and acquisitions.
The UK Financial Accountant will be based from the Group HQ in Crawley which is easily accessed via Gatwick Airport Train Station and also has free car parking.
Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing management accounts for the UK entities of the Group including PLC. You will have 2 direct reports.
* Preparation of statutory financial statements
* Provide clear and timely explanations for expenditure variances to budget
* Prepayments and accruals
* Oversee commission calculations
* Fixed asset accounting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Continuous review of processes
* Secondary management of foreign currency requirements
* Audit preparation
* Management and submission of UK and German VAT Returns
* ISO and Internal Audit reviews
