The company was founded in 1961 to supply testing equipment to the Construction Materials Industry. The Environmental Division, specialising in international projects, was created in 1983. Product sales, service and advice is available from strategically located offices in the UK and USA, supported by regional offices with associates located in Asia and the Middle East.

They provide the expertise needed for accurate, reliable and consistent construction materials testing.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

The primary role of this position is the assembly, inspection and test of all company products.

Key Tasks:

• Mechanical assembly.
• Hydraulic assembly.
• Electrical assembly.
• QC inspection of goods on receipt.
• Calibration and verification of assembled products.
• Preparation of machines for despatch.

Background & Skills Required:

• 2 years plus experience in manufacturing or engineering assembly.
• A technical qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, build to work instructions and fault find is required.
• Experience with panel building and wiring would be preferred.
• Fork Lift Truck experience would also be desirable.
