I.T.MANAGER

£42,634 - £49,964 PER ANNUM (depending on qualifications and experience)

Peterhouse is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly competent professional IT Manager to lead the team which manages all aspects of the College's IT systems, networks and related hardware and software.This is an important role which involves a very high level of interaction with Fellows, students and other College staff. The IT Manager will be an effective leader with an approachable, collaborative style who is seeking constantly to improve the way IT services are delivered through root cause analysis of support requests raised and the generation and delivery of new solutions to
address systemic issues that are identified. Production of key service metrics is also vital as a tool to drive quality improvement.

Peterhouse is continuing to upgrade a number of its key internal management information systems.The person appointed will therefore be heavily involved in the delivery of several significant projects over the next few years.The successful applicant will be a flexible, diplomatic, hands-on manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be responsible for managing his or her own work and also that of two full time team members and a number of important external contractors.

Immediate priorities in relation to management information systems include
implementing the new GDPR legislation and developing the College intranet (based on Drupal technology in collaboration with an external company), as well as maintaining and improving the College's external website.
