We are looking for a solid Drupal developer to join the CMS team where you'll be part of Oxford's most exciting web development agency.

The Job:

You'll join a team of bright, energetic developers, keen to explore and share the latest web and mobile technology. Passionate about advances in CMS technologies & practices you will be interested in sharing knowledge via articles and blogs and you'll take part in monthly show-and-tell sessions where anyone can talk to the company on something interesting they've discovered or have been working on. Using git for source control, our workflow incorporates Github pull requests so your work will be constantly reviewed by your peers. 

Your main toolset will be Drupal (with new builds typically in Drupal 8), but as an agency we are technology agnostic and like to pick the right tools for each job. In the CMS team we also use Perch, and other teams use Symfony2, node.js, and Angular. 

About You:

You will be a mid-senior level developer with a demonstrable talent for web software development, and a proven ability to architect & deliver large scale web projects working as part of a team. We'll expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to collaborate with team members on solutions and keep project managers up to date on progress and setbacks. You'll be a conscientious developer, seeking out responsibility and taking a share of ownership in the quality of the wider project, not just your tasks.

While being a full stack Drupal developer your primary skills will be in back end Drupal development, knowing when to extend contrib modules and how to develop your own. You will have a track record of contributing back to the community and a couple of modules under your belt. A good working knowledge of JavaScript would be desirable, and you should know your way around HTML and CSS.

Technical:

+ Extensive experience with Drupal 7 and ideally some experience of Drupal 8. 
+ Drupal initial setup, optimisation, and testing.
+ Javascript, CSS, and HTML, with an understanding of industry best-practice, including accessibility and progressive enhancement.
+ Proficient in custom module development, key contributed modules and core API.
+ Experience integrating open source and third party applications into existing systems.
+ Experience testing, maintain and troubleshoot existing Drupal sites.
+ Experience of building web-based software in PHP frameworks.

Ideally:

+ Experience using automated testing frameworks.
+ Experience of Acquia or similar dedicated Drupal hosting
