BS Social Care is a national organisation, specialising in the recruitment of professionals within the Health and Social Care sector. We are currently working alongside a specialist provider of residential childcare services in their recruitment of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader, to work with children aged 8 to 18 years.
Our client has gained significant reward and recognition from external organisations such as OFSTED for the level of care they deliver to children and young adults with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (EBD), and challenging behaviour.
Within the role of Team Leader you will effectively support staff and Senior Management, overseeing aspects of the operational day to day management of the service. You will strive to deliver outstanding care and support for the young people in your care and their families. You will provide effective direction, guidance, support and leadership to staff and the children, and will deliver a service which is in line with both company and OFSTED guidelines.
On a personal level, you will be able to demonstrate strong managerial skills and be able to effectively lead by example. You will support your staff team on a daily basis to ensure they are comprehensively trained and debriefed effectively in the management of challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role working with children & young adults with EBD and challenging behaviour
