We currently are recruiting for a client of ours that needs experience support workers to provide a high standard of care to adults with autism.
This well known organisation provides services tailored to give service users to chance live almost independently and improve on skills and tasks that they would complete day to day.
This service currently has male's residents who all have their own interests and schedules, some will want to interact and take part in activities while others are content on their own. Being in the service is the perfect opportunity for you to build up a positive relationship with the service users that will enable you understand what their preferences and needs are.
Residents will require support with household chores and duties; this gives you the chance to help them complete these so they are confident to perform them independently. The residents have medical and general appointments that you will need to help arrange and attend. There is no personal care involved in this role.
To apply for this amazing opportunity all you need is 1 years experience supporting adults with autism and dealing with challenging behaviour. A full UK drivers licence is also required.
