Our pharmacy client now have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Analyst to help manage their Prescription Offers, ensuring that financial targets and KPI’s are achieved.
Identifying and working with relevant suppliers to offer market leading pharmacy schemes, you will look to develop and maintain a system of pricing comparisons and review of competitor ranges to ensure they offer competitive pricing to maximise sales. 

Working closely with the purchasing team, you will ensure the success of their schemes, through the review of current suppliers, monthly pricing meetings, scheme behaviour and forecasting as well as service level monitoring and maximisation. Additionally you will be required to work with the Marketing team to support the development of marketing materials. You will also support the delivery of other commercial activities to support the development and growth of current and future income streams.
They are looking for a committed individual with experience preferably in the community pharmacy or wholesale sectors. It is essential for you to have knowledge of profit and loss, margins and budgets as well as the ability to achieve KPI targets. They would ideally be looking someone with knowledge on the mechanics of how community pharmacy works and the pricing of medicines / drugs in the UK market.
With a positive attitude and willingness to drive results, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and advanced excel and access skills, being able to analyse data in order to develop sales along with the ability to work in a cross functional team. The successful candidate should also have a formal qualification in the appropriate discipline.
