Accountant - Semi-senior

This company are a friendly firm of Chartered Accountants in Devon with offices in Chudleigh, just off the A38.

They provide a full range of professional accountancy services to businesses, individuals and organisations in need of expert accountancy and business management advice.

They require a qualified/ part qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) individual to join their busy and growing team. You will have extensive accounts and taxation experience gained from working within a practice accountancy environment and can hit the ground running. You will report to the practice Director as their personal assistant, to deal with client business matters and the general managing of a varied portfolio list.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Preparation of clients accounts and tax computations, including VAT returns.
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns.
- Supervising junior members of the team.
- Provide ad hoc advice to clients.

You must have:

- The ability to develop strong client/colleague relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Drive and ambition to deliver the best client service possible
- Part qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
- Must have 3 years minimum practice experience
- Must have full driving license and own vehicle in order to visit clients occasionally
