Production Design Technician
Neath
Our client, an excavator parts and design company company has a post for a production design technician at their factory in Neath.
The candidate must have sound understanding of mechanical & manufacturing processes; have knowledge of steel fabrication, design, & materials used.
Duties include:-
- Design & drawing of products.
- Preparation of planning lists for a busy steel fabrication workshop production department (including the CNC profile burner & Lathe Operator), on a daily basis.
- Be responsible for the management of materials.
Applicants must be computer literate and be able to problem solve, be motivated & well organized & have good communication skills.
Hours will be 40 per week from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Wages are in the range of £20K to £22K depending on skill levels.
There is also a bonus scheme in operation which the candidate will qualify for after the initial 6 months of employment.
