Warehouse Operative

Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established family owned firm, specialising in the supply and distribution of tyres and tyre consumables. The successful Warehouse Operative will work on a full time basis earning a salary of £7.50 per hour.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and packing goods in a warehouse environment. Your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Picking tyres from warehouse to customer orders
• Loading tyres onto delivery vans
• Unloading tyre deliveries
• Stock checking
• Monitoring and reporting all HSE issues
• Supporting and maintaining a ‘clean as you go’ policy

The successful Warehouse Operative will ideally have experience within a warehouse environment, although this is not essential. It is quite a physical role; therefore, you are required to be physically fit. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Flexible in working hours
• Excellent organisational skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members
• A positive and enthusiastic drive towards work
• A driving license is an advantage as could be considered for delivery driving roles
