Our client has a multi-disciplinary approach that incorporates the best practices and autism-friendly strategies that supports the educational and living needs of children and young adults who have ASD.
This client is a school who also offer the perfect living situation for service users. The site includes 3 brand new homes with seperate ensuit rooms. Each house holds 3 children.
You will be managing a house hold with children from the age of 8-19 years.
You will be there to prepare either breakfast or dinner and encourage a healthy living.
One of your duties is to take the children out after school for social activities and any kinf of hobbie they may have.
Home work is another major part of this job, so sitting at the table in the kitchen and spending time with them is crucial, this is so they feel comfortable enough to ask for help and you can relay back to the school where they may be struggling.
The shifts will be a 7am start and finishing at 2:45pm.
2:45pm - 10:15
Or if you would prefer night shifts, these are also available.
A previous experience working in care is required along with any qualifications such as NVQ L2 or L3.
37.5 hrs a week
£9 - £9.50 an hour depending on experience.
