About the Role 

Christmas is our busiest time of year so we always need extra people to help with the additional letters and parcels. As a Mail centre worker, you'll work in one of our sorting offices helping to ensure the mail gets to where it needs to be. This will involve unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys and sorting mail and parcels manually. It's a fast paced warehouse type environment with some of our mail centres, processing over a million items in a single shift. These are temporary roles for the Christmas period and would suit anyone looking for short term work in a warehouse or sorting office environment.

Previous experience as a picker/packer in a warehouse environment would benefit experience is not essential.

Roles are available from late October until December 24th with 3 shifts available which consist of earlies, lates and nights (these start dates and shift patterns will vary depending on location). 

About You 

You'll need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You'll play a valuable part in our process so it's essential you're able to move seamlessly between one role and another in order keep the mail moving. You'll be punctual, detail focused and comfortable standing for long periods at a time. And you'll be able to remain calm during a particularly busy period.
