An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Clinical Application Support Officer/Trainer. The post holder will act as a SystmOne or EmisWeb application support specialist and provide training, advice, system configuration and application support to supported organisations. The role is based in York and will involve working in conjunction with the rest of the IMT team in the provision of high quality training, advice and project support both at eMBED bases and on customer sites across the North Yorkshire area and, on occasion, across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

What will you be doing?
Responsible for the development and implementation of policy and/or services your duties will be to:
*Help in ensuring effective processes are in place to support service delivery and minor change requests.
*To assist in the improvement of service delivery to clients by implementing a robust Service Improvement Programme against an ITIL aligned service delivery model in conjunction with other eMBED ICT capability groups as appropriate.
*Help Improve Clinical Applications/Data Quality and Training Support service quality by developing, implementing and measuring continuous improvement strategies thus reducing the cost of quality; improving service delivery
*Support clinical teams in their understanding of summarising and coding in relation to patient records

What skills and experience will you need to be considered?
*You should have experience of delivering training or support to GP practice clinical system users
*Working experience of using the SystmOne GP module or EmisWeb.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to be able to communicate complex information to a non-complex audience
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Experience of working in the NHS would be advantageous
*Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office and a recognised training qualification would be desirable.
