Dorothy Perkins and Burton have recently merged as a digital team so this is a very exciting time to be part of. We have a great opportunity for a Production Manager to join our forward thinking, high energy Digital team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production team who manage all the day to day content, features for UK desktop and international, Mobile, App as well as product upload and product photography.
You must be a strong leader who is organised and very process driven as well as have a high attention to detail and able to build strong relationships with internal and external teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Manage the day to day functional work stream within the Production and Operations team for Dorothy Perkins and Burton.
• Motivate and effectively performance manage 5 production assistants and 2 freelancers
• Plan timing and work, monitor progress and ensure compliance to process by teams
• Define the relevant operational KPIs and determine targets across the end to end processes
• Manage work-flow between Production and our 3rd party who manage the go live of product and content
• Be the main digital rep with the B&M teams, improve processes and limit log requests
• Continuously improve efficiency and processes and implement positive change where needed
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritise to meet daily deadlines
• Be the main point of contact for our photography studio and ensure delivery of product imagery remains at a high level and follows processes
• Photography budget management
• Daily proof check of the website and manage team site check weekly. Oversee all production tasks and ensure the site is displaying the correct information.
• Work closely with digital systems team to make any changes required or resolve any bugs
• Work with Senior Production Manager to assign team responsibilities and set key objectives
MUST HAVES
• A passion for online fashion - a keen interest in online shopping and the digital customer experience
• Ability to independently manage workflow and prioritise tasks in order to meet competing and
• changing deadlines, with a sound awareness of the teams requirements
• Experience in managing, coaching, developing and leading a team
• Evidence of leadership through periods of change
• The proven ability to negotiate and drive performance, liaising at a senior level with confidence and
• impact
• Results driven and delivery focused. Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results, including
• those achieved through influence on related teams
• Commercial and numerical skills including the ability to communicate clearly in a pressured
