A territory based field sales person required to increase the Company's product penetration and revenue from new and existing clients in the South West & Wales.  

To develop partnerships with prospects and clients within their territory and to manage an account strategy to sell our product suite. The Business Development Executive is to manage face-to-face sales opportunities within the independent client sector and to develop a solution strategy that will help the customer with revenue generation and allow the Company to achieve its own targets. 

The product set is both comprehensive and effective in the management of a hotel business.

The position needs an individual to be based in the South West of England or Wales and requires extensive travel within the territory.

Responsibilities 

  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline funnel
  • Build strong relationships with the installed base
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions
  • Work with Marketing to drive business and awareness
  • Disseminate product information to existing customers  
  • To meet with all existing customers within the territory at least once a year
  • Maintain structured account plans for top level/ high revenue accounts
  • Maintain low attrition level

Key Skills and Experience

  • Ability to sell at all levels within the business (E)
  • Proven track record in sales and hotel software industry (E)
  • Ideally knowledge of hotel PMS systems (D)
  • Experience in a solutions orientated sales role (D)
  • Hospitality qualification (D)
  • A sales person that can be self-sufficient i.e. self-starter (E)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to sales targets (E)
  • Ability to work with internal systems and to maintain an accurate forecast online (E)
  • Well-organised and self-directed, strong team player/contributor (E)
