Marc Daniels is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known company who are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Finance Analyst to join their team based in High Wycombe.
* Day to day management and reporting of key business costs and income
* Deliver weekly business reporting, accurately and on time
* Deliver store performance reporting and analysis to improve awareness, performance and profitability
* Daily sales and margin reporting
* For the cost and income areas of responsibility, you will:
* Prepare monthly prepayments, accruals and journal postings
* Provide balance sheet reconciliations monthly
* Provide Flash forecasts monthly
* Deliver the month end P&L providing meaningful variance analysis to budget, forecast and last year
* Delivery of the annual budget and quarterly forecast following review with budget holders
* Adhoc analysis as required
The above list is non-exhaustive and additional duties and analysis may be required.
What our client will look for from you...
* A Graduate with a minimum of 2:1 or Equivalent.
* Previous experience of working in a finance/business relevant role for 6-12 months. This could have been a part of a placement.
* Good communication skills
* Demonstrate organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Good excel skills are an advantage, using vlookup, sumif's, pivots (list not exhaustive).
* Genuine enthusiasm to work in a busy retail environment and keenness to learn and develop along with a commitment to study towards a relevant professional qualification
