We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Health Care Assistant for a new domiciliary service based in Northampton.

The new service has a contract with the county council to provide Domiciliary Care to the elderly around the Northampton area.

As a Senior Health Care Assistant you will be going to the service user`s homes and performing risk assessments, creating/updating care plans for the service users, overseeing all Health Care Assistants and supervising them on shifts, organizing rotas, administering medication and performing general Health Care Assistant roles when needed.

The service is open from 6am - 11pm. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will be required to work between 8am - 6pm. If there is an emergency or a staff shortage, you may be required to work earlier or later on some days. You will also be required to work alternate weekends.

To apply for this role you will need;
- At least an NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
- 1 years senior experience
- Experience creating care plans and performing risk assessments
- Must be a driver as its Domiciliary Care

The services are offering a salary between £18,000 - £19,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

As you will be travelling to service users homes, you will be given a mileage allowance of 20p per mile. The service also offers annual leave entitlement, contribution towards pension scheme, further training if required, full uniform provided and you will also have a free DBS completed through the company.
