Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Due to an expansion of our office and teams, exciting opportunities have arisen for a trainee recruitment consultant In our Liverpool, Wirral and Ormskirk branches.

Lavoro Care is a specialist in Social Care.  We supply child care workers, adult support workers and registered managers to local and national providers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a temporary and permanent basis.

We are looking for a professional trainee recruitment consultant.  Your duties will include working alongside recruitment consultants obtaining availability of temporary workers, sourcing work to suit their skills, ensuring the needs of our clients are met.  You will be confident working in a very sales focused office and being part of a very successful team.

As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will assist the recruitment consultants to deliver the following:

• Develop and build long-term professional business relationships with new and existing clients
• Post jobs adverts via job boards and social media
• Assist with building a database of clients and candidates
• Pre-screen and interview potential candidates
• Source and successfully place temporary staff into positions quickly and efficiently to meet the needs of clients
• Deliver weekly / monthly results and achieve targets
• Be able to work to a very high standard and ensure records are maintained and compliant with legislation and contractual requirements.
• Be able to manage your own timetable, desk and workload in a very demanding sector
• Client visits – new and existing
• Assistance with the development of a recruitment strategy to match business needs
• Continuous sales to develop your desk and branch
• Provide on call cover on a rota basis (incentive payable) after completion of probationary period

In addition, ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and driven to be the best you can be
• Excellent organisation and time management skills and be able to prioritise workload
• Experience of covering shifts via a temp database or perm desk is desirable
• Experience in a health and social care environment is desirable
