Salary - £20,661 - £23,398 P/A (Pro-rata)

Hours - 32½ hours/week + Five inset days.

The School

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a high achieving School on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will have excellent National Curriculum knowledge as well as the confidence to deliver lessons set in an engaging way and to motivate students. The school is looking for someone who is passionate about education and with the capacity to be inventive in the classroom, inspiring the minds of the pupils. Gordano School is looking for exceptional candidates for this role of Cover Supervisor and offers a great opportunity to support our commitment to students.

This role additionally facilitates preparation for the day and the return of materials/work at the end and covers whole classes during a teacher's absence - the main focus will be to keep students on task with work set by teaching staff and the remainder of time will be deployed to support both teachers and support staff generally.

• Have some experience in a classroom environment.

• Be dedicated to your role of a Cover Supervisor and supportive of colleagues and students alike.
