Wilmslow High School is a large state maintained secondary school with over 2,000 students from ages 11 to 18, and over 250 teaching and administration staff.
An opening has arisen for an experienced Finance Supervisor, ideally qualified or part qualified AAT, or BTEC Higher Finance, or with relevant experience.
Working as an important member of small finance team this is an interesting and challenging role that supports the School Business Manager in a wide range of duties including supervising financial transaction processing and reporting.
A hands-on, pro-active approach is essential, as is the ability to balance planned finance work with the ad-hoc demand of general office activities.
Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
Experience of working in a school finance department is an advantage, as are Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
