Outreach Service support individuals with varied needs, offering personalised support. Supporting with day to day living skills, supported to integrate and be part of the community in which they live, seek further education and or employment. As an Outreach Worker you will be working on a One to One basis and therefore need to be experienced in the field.
We are currently looking for Staff with the following Qualities and skills:
• All outreach workers need to be honest, open, accountable and committed to best practices and able to work in a personalised way with each individual.
• Outreach workers will support the people who use our service to challenge the barriers that prevent them achieving individual choice and fulfilment.
• Outreach Workers are passionate and ambitious about what they do and will not be afraid to take risks to improve the lives of those they support.
• Outreach workers need to be committed to providing high quality, sustainable and viable person centred services. They need to be able to use own initiative, work under pressure and predominantly in the community. They need to have experience of supporting individuals that are on the autistic spectrum and or have medical conditions such as server allergies, Epilepsy and those that may display behaviour that some may find challenging.
• Outreach Workers are supported with a robust and varied training programme, regular supervision and guidance from management. In turn they are required to participate in Key worker roles, circles of support, Support planning, risk assessing, report writing and contributing to reviews.
Hours & Salary:
• Full time (37 hours) SCP15 £17760.00 - SCP17 £18532.00 (£9.20ph - £9.60ph)
• Paid Training
Outreach workers are required to work 7 days a week, working on a flexible rota system which includes Sleep in’s.
