Project and Planning Manager
East Sussex
£30000 - £35000 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Project and Planning Manager. Reporting into a senior project manager, the role will consist of working within either the Savings, Insurance or With Profits team, working alongside actuaries to plan and track deliveries for each reporting exercise. The financial results from each team are consolidated and then prepared for key stakeholders, before being delivered to the market so this job requires detailed planning to ensure tight timescales are achieved. Previous experience of working within this sector is an advantage but not a necessity and you are not expected to have a knowledge of the reporting exercises or metrics. Strong leadership will be required to work with your team's reporting manager to create a detailed plan and then ensure teams track against this on a daily basis. Communication skills are also a key requirement, attending regular management meetings to report progress/issues for your team and tracking dependencies across teams.
