The Job

This job is working as a Children Manager in Dewsbury which has 3/4 beds, caring for children with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties). As a Children manager it will be about establishing and maintaining a competent, motivated and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels and to also make sure the home meets the standards and expectations of its statement of purpose.

The Ideal Candidate

The Children Manager will be supported with full induction and all mandatory training, monthly 1-1s and ongoing personal development. The ideal Manager will be qualified in Health and Safety in Children and Young People and also ideally have NVQ level 5 in Management. Experience working with children and young people at a manager level is also essential as well as having a drivers lience with your own car.

Salary Range and Benefits

This job is a full-time position with a salary between £27,000-£34,000.
The hours are Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm to meet service needs addtional hours may be required.
