Based in a convenient and central location, this award winning client in the heart Surrey is looking for a new Payroll Administrator to provide support to the Payroll Manager for a multisided and regional payroll
You will be responsible for the payroll and all related tasks for a work force of over 900 people and it is essential that you can demonstrate supporting this number of colleagues. You will be accountable for planning and managing high standards of electronic payroll practice and the administration of pension plans. Although you will follow standard policies and procedures, you will be expected to use your knowledge and initiative to make decisions relating to analysing and reporting on data. The payroll supervisor will be the main port of call for staff who have payroll queries. Other duties will include, and this list is not exhaustive:
* Making electronic payroll changes to all staffing and pay elements (payments and deductions) as notified by HR
* Update payroll with enhancements as notified by staff attendance sheets
* Update payroll with statutory changes
* Comply with Real Time regulatory requirements
* Ensure payroll remittances are made in a timely manner
* Run payroll on a monthly basis
* Reconcile payroll on a monthly basis
* Distribute payslips, P45s and P60s
